Meet Frank Pennachio

When Frank Pennachio entered the insurance industry in 1986, he soon realized that workers compensation is unlike any other kind of insurance. To better focus on the needs of employers purchasing workers comp insurance, Frank founded Work Comp Partners in September 1994 as an insurance agency exclusively dedicated to workers compensation insurance.

Frank also co-founded the WorkComp Advisory Group in order to bring his specialized knowledge to the insurance community. Frank's dual role as a work comp only insurance agent and as an educator of agents across the country has led him to be nationally recognized for his workers compensation expertise. He has trained over 1,000 agents from Florida to Alaska.

Frank began using Specific Software Solutions’ ModMaster software for computing and analyzing the workers compensation experience rating modification factor (“the mod”) shortly after its introduction to the market in 1990. Frank’s enthusiasm for the power of ModMaster led to an informal alliance – and friendship – with Tim Coomer, Specific Software’s founder and president. For many years, Frank has contributed his expertise to Specific Software’s growing body of knowledge about the mod and about the many factors that affect multiple aspects of workers comp costs. He was, therefore, a natural choice as a contributor to the development of WorkCompEdge.

Frank graduated from the University of Florida in 1981 with a Bachelors of Arts in Education.  He lives in Apollo Beach, Florida with his wife Sherry and three dogs.
